Privacy Policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the Rumbli app on iPhone (“Rumbli”, “we”).
The short version
- Rumbli has no accounts and we never see your name or email. The app does not use the microphone.
- Your settings and saved mixes stay on your phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device data to show and measure those ads, as described below.
- Buying Rumbli Plus removes ads. Once you own Plus, the app stops requesting ads.
Data stored on your device
Your chosen sound, layers, vibration, timer, volume and saved mixes are stored locally on your iPhone (in the app’s settings storage). They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Ads (free version)
The free version shows a short full-screen ad before a session starts. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To serve, limit, measure and prevent fraud on ads, Google may collect and process:
- device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking;
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- ad interaction data (for example whether an ad was shown or tapped);
- diagnostic and performance data about the ad SDK.
Google uses this data as an independent controller under its own policies: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Tracking. iOS asks whether Rumbli may allow tracking. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised using it. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland. We ask for your consent through Google’s consent form before any personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Rumbli → Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- No ads at all. Rumbli Plus is a one-time purchase that removes ads.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks with Apple whether you own Rumbli Plus.
Children
Rumbli is intended for parents and adults, including for use while putting a baby to sleep. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data about you ourselves, requests about ad data are best directed to Google, but you are welcome to contact us and we will help.
Changes
We will update this page if the app’s data practices change, and change the date at the top.
